A diesel fuel can meet other blending requirements while still needing lubricity treatment. Refineries and terminals need to establish the treatment response in the finished fuel, including the influence of other additives and the intended handling route.

COLI9500 provides the mono-acid option within Cestoil’s diesel lubricity range. It is intended for fuel applications where the untreated blend needs improved lubricating performance.

The product can be introduced through refinery or terminal treatment systems. Its selection should account for the complete additive package and the site’s mixing and dosing arrangements.

Start with the untreated fuel’s lubricity result and the required finished-fuel target. HFRR and SLBOCLE are methods identified in the product documentation for assessing lubricity response.
