Fuel batches and blend components can differ in their lubricity response. A treatment that performs adequately in one base fuel may need reassessment when the blend changes. Selection also needs to fit the site’s storage and injection arrangements.

COLI9500H provides a hybrid option within Cestoil’s diesel lubricity range. Its role is to improve fuel lubricating performance and support wear protection in fuel injection equipment.

It may be introduced at the refinery or included in a terminal additive program. Evaluation should use the finished formulation, including the other fuel additives used at the site.

Begin with untreated-fuel lubricity and the finished-fuel target. Compare candidate treatments using an agreed method such as HFRR, retaining the fuel description and test conditions with the results.
