The application challenge
Diesel blend components have different ignition characteristics. A finished blend may need cetane improvement even when its other properties meet the blending target. Treatment selection depends on the starting fuel and the response measured in that blend.
The product’s role
CA1801 provides a chemical treatment option for improving diesel cetane number. It can be incorporated at the refinery or used within a terminal additive program.
The product’s role is ignition-quality adjustment. Selection should consider the complete finished-fuel formulation and the site’s storage, mixing and dosing arrangements.

Provide the current cetane result, required target, base-fuel description, existing additive package and intended blending location.
Compare untreated and treated samples using an agreed cetane test method. Review blend compatibility before extending the evaluation to plant operation.
