Application and function

Cold flow improvers are evaluated for changes in low-temperature filtration and flow behavior, including cold filter plugging point and pour point. Response depends on fuel composition and should be established with representative samples.

Wax anti-settling additives are considered where wax dispersion during cold storage is also important. They can be evaluated alongside a cold flow improver.
