Research octane and motor octane results provide distinct information. Evaluation should address the properties required by the finished-fuel specification, together with blend stability and compatibility.

Evaluate the response
Compare treated and untreated samples using agreed octane test methods. Review gum formation, oxidation stability and other relevant fuel properties alongside the octane response.
Establish the treatment recommendation from the actual blend. Batch mixing or metered injection should provide consistent incorporation.
