The application challenge
A finished diesel blend may require lubricity treatment even when its other properties meet the target. Product selection needs to account for the base fuel, required wear performance, existing additives and proposed blending arrangement.
The product’s role
COLI9500ES provides the ester-type option within Cestoil’s diesel lubricity range. It is supplied as a liquid for incorporation into refinery or terminal additive programs.
The product is intended for fuels with poor intrinsic lubricating characteristics. Its documented evaluation methods include HFRR and SLBOCLE bench testing.
Plan an application evaluation
Provide the fuel description, untreated lubricity result, finished-fuel target and details of the additives already in use. Include the treatment location and relevant handling constraints.
Compare candidates in representative fuel and review the complete additive package for compatibility. This product is not intended for aviation fuels.
