Support training, clear responsibilities and open communication. Encourage employees to raise concerns and share observations, and maintain dialogue with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Maintain emergency response arrangements appropriate to the activities and risks involved. Review responsibilities and preparedness so that people understand how to raise an alarm and respond.
Seek practical opportunities to conserve resources, reduce waste and prevent pollution. Consider environmental factors in product development, handling and operational decisions.
Set and review HSE objectives, monitor performance and learn from incidents and feedback. Use those findings to guide corrective actions, reporting and continual improvement.
