Organic octane boosters are evaluated as components of gasoline blending programs. Suitability depends on the base gasoline, required octane characteristics, complete additive package and requirements for the finished fuel.

Compare treated and untreated samples using agreed octane test methods. Review gum formation, oxidation stability and other relevant fuel properties alongside the octane response.
Establish the treatment recommendation from the actual blend. Batch mixing or metered injection should provide consistent incorporation.
