The application challenge

Low-conductivity fuels can accumulate static charge as they move through handling equipment. Refineries, terminals and distributors need a treatment that fits the fuel, injection system and operating procedures.

The product’s role

ST3425 improves fuel conductivity to support static dissipation. It can be introduced through refinery or terminal dosing systems, including loading-rack and pipeline applications.

Conductivity treatment forms part of the site’s fuel-handling controls. Grounding, bonding and flow control remain necessary alongside the additive program.

Plan an application evaluation

Start with the fuel type, untreated conductivity, target requirement, existing additives and intended injection location.

Compare untreated and treated fuel, then review conductivity retention through the expected storage and handling sequence. A material change in the base fuel or additive package should prompt a review.
